DIY: Healthy (and yummy) fruit bars

I love granola bars! But the good ones are soo expensive, which is why I thought it was time for me to make them myself.

What you need

2,5 dl Granola
22g almond, pecan, hazelnut, pumpkin seeds or any other nut you might like
65g dried fruits (blueberries, cranberries, raisins etc.)
75g sugar (brown is preferable)
50g honey
25g butter

A 10x15 cm baking pan and a sharp knife.

How too do it

First you mix the granola, the dried fruits and the nuts/seeds. Then you add the honey and the melted butter into the bowl. Once you've mixed it all a couple of minutes and made sure it's all covered in a small layer of honey, sugar and butter, you press it into a 10x15 cm baking pan. You need to really press it down and push it together, otherwise it'll crumble the minute you take it out the oven.
Bake it around 15 minutes at a 175 celcius.
Let it cool, push it out of the pan and cut it out in 8 pieces.

Problems ?
It comes out too soft: You might want too try less honey or butter the next time. Make sure that the honey if firm too begin with and the butter as stiff as you can find it. Once it cools off, it'll help make the granola bar stiff as well.

It crumbles and in no way sticks together: If it's too dry it'll do this, but also if it's too soft. If the case is dry, then try adding a little more honey or butter next time. If wet? Se above.
