Joico Smooth Cure

This was supposed to replace Joico Silk result, which was my favourite shampoo of all times. So maybe you can guess, I wanted sooooo much too love this product.

Packaging: It's similar to the old, except the color which is orange and the fact that I broke the lids after two uses. So nothing amazing, but nothing new.

The smell: It is amazing! It smells so nice. The silk result had an odd scent, but this is very normal, fresh and pleasent. Actually it smells friuty, like a kids shampoo.

Lather? It is a sulfate free shampoo. I admint blankly, that I have no previous experience with these, but I think it lathers up nicely. Just like any other regular shampoo. It's consistence and color is white and ordinary.

Their promise: Features Kerashield complex to gently cleanse while reducing frizz, leaving hair dramaticyally soft, smooth and manageble.

Do they keep it? Well, not really and then sort off. Confused? Yes, so was I. Let me break it down. They cleanse, but so mild that I have too wash it every single day. My hair gets greasy really quickly with this shampoo.
Does it stop frizz? Yes a little the first day, but I still have to braid my hair when going to bed.
Smoothes down? Here's where we encounter problems. Even though it smoothes it down, it doesn't stay that way and even though I used the OSMO Berber Oil on my split ends, they still felt dry! Something I have never tried before.

So yes, the hair is a bit more manageble, but it also dry and greases quickly.

Will I recommend it to you? No. No I will not. It is not worth the money (around 16£ pr bottle). I wanted soo much too say yes, but I really don't think it's worth it. I think that they are fools for dropping the silk result and I now have to find a new favourite shampoo..

Hope you all are having a lovely day, with clean hair

xoxo
