Clinique even better Foundation

First off, this range of foundation definately isn't for porcelain skin. I'm using the lightest color which is 01 Alabaster (VF-N) which isn't light at all! Actually it is a bit too dark for me (NC 15 -20), so I'll have too use it right after applying my moisturizer or mixed in with it.
Having said that, it is very good. It covers well (remember to shake it well!!!), doesn't irritate my oily skin or make me break out. I fell like it does a good job calming down redness and my skin does look better using this. So I've decided to keep going and just make it work for me and my post-pimple scars.
Another good thing about this is the spf 15.
All in all - I really do like this foundation, just remember to shake well and try it on before bying it. The color might not work out for you..

Newly discovered old love: Joico K-pak deep penetrating reconstructor

I've recently discovered and old love - again. Lately I've been having one of those periods where I switch up my hair routine all the time trying too find the best products out there for you too tell about. What have I discovered? I had it all along.

My hair had been feeling stiff, dry and harsh for quite some time. I decided that since nothing I was currently using worked, I would go back to the oldies. It worked perfectly !

The product it self is a grainy banana scented treatment (the shampoo and conditioner does NOT smell like this) which doesn't lather or give a nice silky feel on the wet hair. It really doesn't feel like it's going to work. Even after letting it sit for 5 min and washing it out - still feels like nothing. But then.. When you dry your hair, it's very easy to feel the difference. Your hair shines, it's stronger and the ends are taken care off (obviously it won't fix already split ends, but it does make them softer). I guess I never realized how good it was, since my hair was well taken care off at that time (I was using Joico's silk result which by the way has been discontinued, snuff * ).

After having used this I don't have to shampoo my hair every day to make it look nice. This is my third day and I am still going strong!

Can't say enough good thing about it - you'll have too try it yourself!

You can find it many places for around 10-12£

Lavera: Organic mint moisturizing fluid

Since I've just had to say goodbye to my lovely REN moisturizer, Lavera has stepped up and helped me in my battle towards oily skin!

Too my surprise, is the cream a minty colour. Why I hadn't expected that from the name I can't say. I have a feeling it might help prevent the redness from my face to look soo red in the morning, which is kind of nice, but without looking like Jim Carrey from the Mask. I had hoped you could see it on the picture, but it doesn't quite come through.
It's very fresh on the face - again with the mint - and you can feel from the texture of the cream, that it's going to help keep your skin matte.
And last, but definately not least: It keeps my skin very moisturized during the day.

All in all? this is a great cream! Even better than the REN (it hurts a bit too say it). The texture, the way my skin absorbs it in seconds, the colour (yes I'm a fan!) and the fresh feeling in the morning! It combines too make the most lovely cream for oily and 'bumpy' skin. The price is around 11£ mark, which is much cheaper than the REN. But, it's only 30 ml. The REN is 50 ml, which I think is the normal amount. This feels a bit small, but then again, you don't need much and it's cheaper dispite the fact that it's natural.

Please note that this is the old packaging, you can buy the new one here.

My next buy

For a long time I've been in love with this necklace. My first time seeing it was on lollipop26 (no longer on youtube) in one of her videos. Since than a few youtubers have gotten it and it's sort of faded out, but for me it's still lovely - timeless and beautifull! It's so light and delicate, feminine but with a subtle statement.

It is... dah dah dah: The link chain necklace!

I think I will buy it in the 42 inch version. Simple, but interesting.

I've totally snatched the photo from the website, just to give you guys an idea of what I'm talking about.

Check it out,

Maybeline's Rocket Volum' Express!

When it comes to mascaras I don't really feel like spending a lot of money. Unless you have hypersensitive eyes (Clinique). To be honest, a good drugstore vs a hyped highstreet one, I don't think there's much of a difference. But crap can be found all around so be carefull.

This mascara is definately one of the good drugstore ones! I love everything about it. The brush is huge, but somehow it stille works on my pretty average lashes. It doesn't dry your lashes out, doesn't irritate my eyes, it stays put all day (except in heavy wind, in which chase you need to swipe your finger round your bottom lashes and then you're done), the packaging is totally cute with the navy and hot pink.
The brush is a plastic kind brush, so if you really don't like them, then please don't buy it. The neck of the tube is just tight enough so that the perfect amount of mascara is applied to the brush every time.

The promise? Massive volume in rocket time. Clump-free.

The result? You get perfectly seperated lashes that is perfectly covered from top to buttom. They promise that it doesn't clump and they are right! It really doesnt. Volume is applied but not in that heavy way, but a more natural way. But you can always give it an extra coat if you wish for a more heavy look. All of this for around 10£.

All in all? Wonderfull, definately my new favorite drugstore mascara. Can't find a complain.

Things I've finished !

Hi guys,
Sorry I've been MIA for sooo long! Life has been super hectic lately, but I've missed bloggin!

So today I ran out of a few products and thought I might tell you about them. First off, when I run out of a product (which happens rarely) it means that I've liked it much more than average - also I kinda decided that I had too use the products I had, rather than byuing new ones.

The first I wanna tell you about is my REN T-zone balancing day fluid. It's so LIGHT and gentle to use. I don't think it did much (it did some) too prevent the shine BUT it didn't make anything worse by being very light. The packaging is really nice. It's a pump and gives a perfect amount each time, which makes it last for about 3 months (50 ml). The price mark is around 25£.  Uh, another plus: the tube pumping thing get's out every last bit off cream!

The other thing I've just finished using is the Clinique Anti-Blemish solutions. Now this is cool stuff! It contains salicyclic acid which is good too fight pimples. Special for this toner, is that you have to shake it up real nice before applying. If you don't you wont get the full effect at first and the last bit will be too rough for your skin. BUT, with every praise I have too say: It is very rough and effective for your skin, so If you don't like harsh toners, this won't be for you! The price is around 15£.

Third thing is the Clinque Take the day off makeup remover! It's amazing for sensitive eyes. I have nothing bad to say about this. Try it, you'll love it. Around the 15£ mark.

The last thing is Osmo Berber Oil. I've used this during the though months off winter for my ever growing long hair. It provides just the right amount of protection for my hair to live another month. It smells like gummi bears and is really thick. So it probably won't work for short, fine hair. But for long, a little elektric hair, it's perfect :)

That was it for now! Hope you all ae doing well,

xoxo
